Such a gorgeous image - I made 2!!

 

Well, I got this adorable image from Digi Darla for the Glitter N Sparkle challenge (66) this week...

(anything goes!) and I was so inspired by it, I made 2 cards!

 

 So, for the first card, I immediately hunted through my papers to find something

with red flowers on - I wanted red flowers! Could I find anything? NO!

Typical!

So, I took a dovecrafts backing paper...from the "tea party" set (I think)

and I used my red promarker to colour all the little pink flowers, red! Hurrah! :)

I was really pleased with how it came out.

I coloured the image with my watercolour pencils

and added a sentiment form Pink Petticoat - "simply delightful" range.

I added a little glitter to all the daisies on the backing paper

and some MS punched butterflies...think they are becoming my signature! :)

This paper comes from "My Minds eye" - a freebie set of papers, that I

actually won, online!

The swirly leaf is a Marianne diecut - with punched flowers and butterflies.

There are little specks of glitter here n there, but the

camera didn't pick them up too well.
