Wellington Bear

Introducing Wellington...

He's from the new Docrafts range of goodies and he's goooorgeous!
I made this on bank holiday when I had done the gardening and the housework.
My friend called me up and gave me this "challenge".
To have made a Wellington card by 6pm.5
As it was already 4pm, I thought it was too big a challenge, but by
5:30pm it was finished.
And, I am very pleased with it, if I do say so myself!

Just the two....

Just a quick post today...
this housework lark is taking longer than I hoped it would,. today!   ;)

 First up...
my friend's birthday was this week....
and I thought I would make her something a little different.
It's a card in the style of a newspaper...I have
made a few of these recently, for friends and family, but I don't want to "blog them"
too early, incase they see them!
Image is PP, coloured with promarkers.
Decoupaged cupcake border, with a bit of G.A.

I was commissioned to make this birthday card...
"For a girl who loves Everton, but can be quite girly!"
Hmmm...
I think this fit the bill, and the buyer was pleased with it! x

Thanks for looking and for any comments.. xx

Fanciful flourish mad!

I've gone mad for the new flourish die I bought last week!

I used a paper from a HOTP kit I've had for yonks,
that flourish and some punched flowers and butterflies with
the odd pearl here and there.
"Celebrate" stamped in gold.

P.C sentiment with craftwork cards embossed frame,  flourishes,
paper flowers and punched silver butterflies.
Also, a bit of liquid pearls here and there.

As above....
Made with neutral colours, so suitable for anyone.

New Dies...

I bought some new dies on Thursday - and they were here on Friday morning!
Thank-you Oyster Stamps!

I made this one with my new "fanciful flourish" die...
which I luuurve!
I mixed and matched it a bit on this card...
cutting off a bit here and there and sticking it close next to another
part of the fanciful flourish.
I think it works!
I layered two purple flowers, with a pearl, some diecut butterflies in silver
and a craftwork cards frame which I thought
I would never be able to use...its a bit of a funny size!
But I have now found the perfect way to use it.

40th Birthday Card

Just a quickie, I have a friend coming over shortly...

I made this for a friends recent birthday -
this card is sooo much "her", you wouldn't believe!
the papers, image and sentiment are all from Pink Petticoat -
I am rediscovering all their stuff, as I have a lot of it!
I paper pieced the rose on her top, and the drink....
and decoupaged the handbag.
A touch of sparkle here and there (although you can't tell in this pic)
and....done!

Butterflies...

..They really seems to be "my thing" at the minute...

I got some new paper, filled with butterflies,
and fell in love with it as soon as i saw it!
I inked the paper and a martha stewart border punch
(I bought 12, 12 x 12 borders from the car boot last week for £1 !)
and decoupaged one of the butterflies from the paper.

 Same paper,
another MS punched border,
and sentiment is yet to go on... I have left a little space
in that little label I handcut,
between the butterflies. I might just put
a name in there.

as above....

and again, with a craftwork cards sentiment.

Again, I used a craftwork cards sentiment,
MS border, and I also bought the gold butterfly at the car boot..
I assume its an MS punched butterfly.

Here's a quick pic of the whole collection I made from this paper, on Friday evening....
I love this photograph...so spring-like!
Thanks for looking   xxxx

Oohhh, I'm not enjoying this new blogger lark....
It won't let me put text under the middle of each pic,
and I can't see my buttons properly on the top bar...so I just have to guess where
the "add pics" button is, to get my pictures on.
Grrr.....

This is made from Pink Petticoat papers and image...
inked, paper pieced, glittered and butterflies added.
Sentiment computer generated.

I made this for a crafty friends little girl.
I have had this tilda(?) image for a while, and thought it would suit perfectly.
The pissie didn't come out too well.. I think I took it in a bad light.
It looked so much better in real life..honest!
I used duck egg blue pretty doddles paper from Pink Petticoat for the background
plenty of paper flowers (I inked up the blue ones cos they started off white!)
and a craftwork cards sentiment.

I was asked to make this card ... I made a similar one a few months ago
which was very well recieved! So, another was needed for another neice!
Embossed background, die-cut name and age, handcut butterflies
and lots of sparkle here and there!
