Mother's day

For my mum's Mother's day card,

I decided to use Patties new image: Forget-me-knots...

We have lots of Forget-me-knots in our garden, which are all
just starting to bloom. They are beautiful!
I looked closely at the flowers before colouring this image.
I popped he image onto 3d foam and backed onto the grey and blue papers.
I dry embossed the edge of the grey card,
as well as drawing on faux stitching.
A stamped sentiment and punched butterflies finished this card.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
As you like it - floral, because forget-me-knots are some of my favourite flowers... I have them all over my garden! -17th April

Glamorous girls

Pattie, over at Patties Creations has designed this fab image,
called "Martini girls please"
and I couldn't resist using it for my friends birthday card...

As you will see, I will be making a fair few "50" birthday cards this year...
I'm turning 50 soon, too!
Anyway, I coloured the image with my alcohol pens
and added bits of glamour, using glitter, to the girls jewellery
and clothes.
The 50 was diecut from sparkly gold, and the stars were punched.

I added a backing paper behind to set off the image and a stamped sentiment.

The first of the 50's.

I have a big birthday in a few months
as does my sister and lots of my friends.

Pattie has designed this set of images called milestones
and you can get every big birthday in the set!

I added a computer generated sentiment into the image.
I coloured the wreath with my alcohol pens and
glittered to number with stickles glitter glue.
(It's really hard to photograph glitter well!)
The image was inked round the edges, and dry embossed,
then backed on a piece of patterned paper.

Reindeer cheer!

 Happy new year!

I made this card recently, using Patties "Silly Reindeer"
as a first Christmas card for 2025. ..

I coloured the image with my alcohol pens and fussy cut round it.
I glittered all the little light bulbs on the image and his nose!
Snowflake covered vellum was popped behind the image,
with a stamoed greeting and a paper edge, which was edged in gold ink.
