I was thrilled to be using these images this month too, for the Patties Creations challenge...
The image is called "joy" and you get 2 (slightly different) images!
Joy (1)...
I knew straight away, that I wanted to "colour" this JOY in glitter!
I used a very fine glue pen, to colour inside the J and Y...then sprinkled on ultra-fine gold glitter.
I carefully cut out the middle of the O and popped the candy paper behind.
The snowflake backing paper ( from Dovecrafts) was inked and embossed around the edges.
I finished this card with a few punched holly leaves with liquid pearls berries
and a stamped and coloured robin (with my promarkers) which came as a freebie
with a magazine some time ago.
I really like the way this card came out!
I would like to enter this to the following challenges:
2 Craft crazy critters - Christmas - 26 Dec
Crafts galore encore - atg Christmas - 31 Dec
Crafty animals - atg with an animal - 27 Dec
Passion for promarkers - Christmas - 8 Dec
Joy (2)
This version, is a slightly chunkier type and I wanted to keep this one in traditional
christmas colours.
I coloured the chunky font in my alcohol pens, adding the little
yellow tips and stripey bottoms to the J and Y.
The patterned paper behind, is a Dovecraft paper.
The holly leaves are punched, with liquid pearls berries.
I would like to add this into the following challenges:
Catch the bug - atg - 13 Dec
I love promarkers - atg (Christmas ) - 8 Dec

Your card is so elegant. Gorgeous snowflake paper and I love the embossed border. Your glittery work on the letters is perfect and the bauble 'O' is wonderful too. I love your little robin! Thanks for sharing this with us at Passion for Promarkers!

Vicky,
These cards are perfect for the Holidays and you did a great job coloring my Joy 1 & Joy 2 images.
Hugs
Pattie
Both cards are beautiful and Christmasy. The first one is elegant, the second very traditional with your choice of colors. Thanks for joining our challenge at Catch the Bug.
