Anniversary card

I played around with Patties Creations image called "Birthday Cake" this week...

... and turned it into a piece of anniversary cake, including 2 spoons!
We have just celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary
and we often share cake...
so I added 2 diecut spoons to the cake, which I coloured
with my alcohol pens.
I stamped a ;ittle sign to stand on the piece of cake and added
a diecut 21 in the corner.
I handcut some little bunting pennants and a diecut "husband."

Silly cats

Patties Creations  has some fantastic new images in her shop ..
and have used a fairly recent one here - 'Silly Cats'.

I coloured the image with my alcohol pens
and fussy-cut around the cats.
I popped the image onto 3d foam.
I used some daubers and distress inks to create the background with 3 colours,
popped on the image and added a stamped sentiment.
An embossed line round the edge, finished this card.

Birthday card for my neighbour.

Such a cute image from Patties Creations - Ice Cream Sundae.
This is in the freebies section on her page....

I made this card for my sweet neighbour, who is turning 13.
I think she still likes pink...and who doesn't like icecream?!?

I used my alcohol markers to colour the image.I dribbled glossy accents all over the "sauces" to make them look glossy and edible...they really do!
A few different papers, one with a punched edge and a I inked all the edges.
The sentiment is hand written and her name and age are stickers
that I bought an age ago, on holiday in Canada.
Martha Stewart punched butterflies are featured...again!

June - birthday

Another very sweet image from my friend, over at Pattie's Creations...
"Circle of animal friends."

I coloured Pattie's image with my alcohol pens and made a backing paper craeted
from a few different colours of spotty paper, from Ann Marie Designs, which I inked the edges of and did a little line all around of faux-stitching with my white Sakura pen.
I generated the sentiment on the PC
and added some punched (Martha Stewart) butterflies...which often feature on my cards!

Fresh and floral

Using "Cup and saucer with flowers" from Pattie's Creations,
I made my Mother-In-Law
a card for Mothering Sunday.

I used my alcohol markers to colour the image.
I fuss-cut round the image and popped it on 3D foam to give dimension.
I inked and dry embossed around the edges of the spotty paper
and inked the edges of the cross-hatched paper.
A stamped sentiment and punched butterflies finished this card.

Sister's birthday card

My sister loves Gonks and I needed to make her a birthday card...
So I used this image from Patties Creations.

This gnome image is called "Gnome in teacup" and I fussy-cut away the teacup!
My sister is not a lover of hot drinks, but loves Gnomes.
I loved the fact that the gnome is popping up, over the sentiment,
holding a star to 'create' her birthday wish.

I coloured (with my alcohol pens) and fussy cut the gnome and star....from Pattie's Creations.
I embossed a piece of card, adding some little white hand-drawn hearts every here and there.
I Inked the edge of a backing paper (from a paper pack I bought in a pound shop) I thought my sister would like and added some faux stitching with my white Sakura pen.
I created a strip and stamped on the greeting, again,
inking and using faux stitching around the edge.
A little sprinkle of glitter round the edge of the star, finished this card.
I would like to add this into the following challenges:

Mothers day

Over at Patties Creations this month,
I have used one of her newer images to make a Mothers Day card
for my mum...

I dry-embossed the card, added a simple strip of paper, which
I felt co-ordinated with the flowers I coloured.
I used my alcohol markers to colour the image.
The sentiment was stamped in the bottom corner.
