The first of the 50's.

I have a big birthday in a few months
as does my sister and lots of my friends.

Pattie has designed this set of images called milestones
and you can get every big birthday in the set!

I added a computer generated sentiment into the image.
I coloured the wreath with my alcohol pens and
glittered to number with stickles glitter glue.
(It's really hard to photograph glitter well!)
The image was inked round the edges, and dry embossed,
then backed on a piece of patterned paper.

Reindeer cheer!

 Happy new year!

I made this card recently, using Patties "Silly Reindeer"
as a first Christmas card for 2025. ..

I coloured the image with my alcohol pens and fussy cut round it.
I glittered all the little light bulbs on the image and his nose!
Snowflake covered vellum was popped behind the image,
with a stamoed greeting and a paper edge, which was edged in gold ink.

Cute Christmas

Pattie's Creations has a new image in her shop..
"Christmas Cactus Trio"

I printed off the image and fussy cut along the bulb string.
I stamped a sentiment, edged the sides in a thin gold pen and
added an embossed piece of card at the bottom.

I used alcohol markers and a white pen to colour the image,
along with some fine, coloured glitters.

Snow couple

This month I have used Patties Creations image: Snow couple.

I coloured the image with my alcohol pens and used some fine glitter
on the hat, scarf and gloves.
I inked the edges of the back paper and used some stickles
on the snowflakes for extra sparkle.
The lantern and the greeting are diecut.

Sparkle all the way...

is the focal point for my card this month...

There are actually 3 baubles that come in the image, but this shaped one is my favourite.
I coloured it with my promarkers,
added a strip of paper behind the image,
with a thin slice of gold border.
After dry embossing the edge of the card, I hand stamped
the sentiment - and glittered the word "Sparkle".
(It is really difficult to photograph that part!

My first Christmas card this year!

I got this gorgeous image from Patties Creations, called
Front Door set 2024.

(I am very pleased that I managed to make a Christmas card in August!)

There are 2 images in the set but I chose to use this one for my
mum and dad's Christmas card this year.
(The other image has summertime trees in front of the door - perfect for a "new home" card.)

I used alcohol pens to colour the image so it's like my parents door.
I paper-pieced the doormat, stamped on the wording and
added a few diecuts to enhance the image.
I fussy cut around the trees added some inking around the edges,
before popping the image onto the backing paper.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Fussy-cut wreath

At Pattie's Creations this month, I have used one of her newer images...
Hummingbird floral wreath, to create this card.

I coloured the image with my promarkers and other alcohol pens,
then fussy-cut all around the image.
I added some sparkle to the hummingbird (which is hard to photograph well)
and traced a shape which I cut out of the spotty backing paper, so the #wreath would look like it is framing the spotty paper.
An inked, dry embossed edge and some punched butterflies finished this card.
