Two little mice

At the Colour Crazy challenge this week,

our usual "anything goes"challenge is sponsored by the wonderful

"All Dressed Up" - and I have been working with 

the very cute image - two little mice.

I used my promakers in various shades of brown - as well as

pinks and creams, to colour the mice and flowers. 

I 3d foamed it onto a background which I embossed, inked the edges, 

and added a stamped sentiment.

(from a bargain hunkydory sentiment set, which i spotted at

a charity shop for a measly 20p!)

The Butterflies were made using my Martha Stewart punch.

Father's day

The Colour Crazy Challenge have a great sponsor this week - Dr Digi!

I know my Dad would LOVE a card with this 2cv citroen image!

I wanted to keep it simple, so kept the rest of the card monotone, in kraft card.

The image has been mounted on 3d foam.

The stars were cut on my bigshot and are actually in an antique gold...

 but it's hard to see that on the photograph. 

 "dad" is actually cut from a "happy birthday" die -

(I love to get lots of uses out of one item!)

I coloured the image with a mixture of my pens - promarkers, and spectrum noirs. 

The background was run through an embossing folder on my bigshot, too.

I'm going to give this card to Dad, for Father's day.

Dragonfly

Patties Creations is challenging us to use..

"anything that flies"

this month.

I used her image - Dragonfly 2. 

This is such a delicate and pretty image to colour.

I used all my light blue / aqua type colour pens - promarker pens.

On the wings, I also used a very soft pink and highlighted the wings with 

a wink of stella. (very fine glitter brush)

The frame was already embossed with flowers, which I chalked to give a soft colour.

The backing colour paper is subtle shades of greens an blues,

which is part of a pack of papers I won in a blog challenge last year.

Along the edges of the paper and the frame, I inked green and

turquoise blue.
