With deepest sympathy

I'm over the moon to be a guest designer over at Cut It Up challenge blog
for the next 3 challenges.
This time, the challenge is: "hard to say..." (ie: sympathy, sorry, belated)

I recently got a couple of lovely new dies and wanted to try them both, so made 2 cards...

This first card simply uses a Creative Expressions die - Daisy Edger.
I put a slither of washi tape to the straight edge,
punched out the butterflies with my Martha Stewart punch
and added a stamped sentiment.
I love how intricate this die is.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;
Creative knockouts - use a die - 3 Feb
Crafters Cafe - CAS - 13 Feb
Happy little stampers - atg with dies - 1 Feb

This card uses a frame die for the works - I love stitched dies!
The new die here is the flowers...it's a die and stamp set.
The first set like that I have bought!
It's called 'Blooming stamp and die set' by Karin Joan. (Studio Light)
Again, the sentiment was stamped
and I used my promarkers to colour the image.
Those Martha Stewart butterflies have come out again - I love that punch!
The lines along the edge finished the card, and are dry embossed.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
I love promarkers - atg / flowers - 1 Feb
Jan's digi stamps - atg - 9 Feb
Passion for promarkers - embossing - 2 Feb
Die cut Divas- Flowers - 1 Feb
Perfectly CAS - diecuts and flowers - 12 Feb

Squeeze the day!

Over at the Colour Crazy Challenge, we have the pleasure of being
sponsored by my friend Pattie, at Patties Creations.
This is the lovely image: life gives you lemons.

This was a super-cute image to colour.
I used my promarkers and alcohol markers.
I inked the edge of all the backing papers and added a strip of washi tape to the embossed piece.
The sentiment was made using sticker letters for the main word
then I hand-wrote the rest.
I like the word play on this card - from "seize the day."

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Creative fingers - atg - Feb
Creative crafting Uncles - atg - 1 March
C.R.A.F.T - ATG - 3 Feb
Creative knockouts - atg - 28 Jan

Gnome birthday

 Happy 2022!
I hope you had a lovely Christmas with family and friends and
that 2022 has started well for you.

We were having a lovely time, until I went and fell over on a walk
on New Years Eve!
I'm now sporting a large scabby knee and a very tender kneecap.

Luckily, I have had this cute image to play with, from Patties creations...
He is called Bubble the Gnome.

The challenge for January is either "snowmen / snow" or "anything goes."
I'm not wanting to make any more Christmas cards just yet, however I do have a few
birthday cards to make for the next few months,
so choose "Bubble the gnome" for a card for my sister's boyfriend.
I coloured him with my alcohol markers and 3D'd his beard and nose.
The stamped sentiment is from Kaiser crafts
and I diecut the stars, adding a little punched star in the corner.
The edges are all inked and I did some dry embossing along some edges.
I'm pleased with the way this one came out...my first card for 2022!

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
