Blue Christmas

I was thrilled to recieve this gorgeous image for this weeks challenge
at Glitter n Sparkle -
it's called "Winter Fae" from Morgans Artworld....

I knew I wanted to use this image to make a Christmas card for our 12 year old niece.
I coloured her coat, hair and skin with my promarkers and
her cuffs and hood were filled with docrafts glitter.
I used a free sentiment I found on t'internet
and embossed an edge around it.
(I feel it gives a professional finish.)
After matting the image I added a precious hearts memory box die
and a Martha Stewart punched snowflake border.
The backing paper - I think - is from DCWV
and I carefully ripped the edges to soften the look.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges...
Fresh brewed designs - atg christmas - 29 Dec
A snowflakes promise - Winter / christmas - 14 Dec
Papertake weekly - atg - 31 Dec

Love the subtle effect the torn paper gives the card. I bet that glitter is gorgeous in real life. It looks amazing in the picture.
