This weeks challenge, over at Glitter n Sparkle, is...
"make a shaped card"
which just happens to be what I made for
(mine and ) my sisters 40th birthday...
I played around for a long time, to make this K shape... for her name (Kathy)
I used the amazing image form "A Day for Daisies" ..Flower Maiden 1
and coloured her with my promarkers.
It just shows how versatile this image is...last week, I used it to make a mother's day card
and this week, I made her into twins!
I added my fave backing paper from Anna Marie...
the washed aqua and cream polka dot paper.
Inking the edges gave a softer feel,
while my diecut swirls and leaves were the perfect backdrop for the punched flowers
with diecut flower middles (from Memory Box), in blues and whites.
A couple of soft pink (punched) butterflies and a precious heart (from Memory Box)
finished this card.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges...
